We are seeking a Procurement & Contracts Lead to undertake the strategic procurement and contract management of goods and services while managing Eldercare's purchasing systems. The role is integral at both operational and strategic levels in dealing with stakeholders, undertaking benchmarking and tenders on core commodities while delivering a broad range of category management functions of goods and services.
About the role:
- Full-Time permanent position
- Utilise your Procurement leadership skills to manage strategic contracts “end to end” which drive value and user benefits within an experienced leading-edge Procurement Division
- Provide strategic analysis, insightful reporting and commercial advice identifying opportunities that will make a difference
- Lead contingency planning in business-critical supplies and high-risk commodities
- Required to work proactively and collaboratively with stakeholders across the broader business
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in a similar role in an FMCG/Health environment, where you have been responsible for supply chain management, procurement and contract management of all goods and services within a dynamic business unit.
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience. CIPS qualifications highly regarded.
- Track record of identifying and delivering business improvements and working within a centre-led procurement team
- High level of IT procurement literacy in both analysis, reporting and purchase to pay systems
- Experience leading change management initiatives across a diverse group of stakeholders
- Excellent customer service and the advanced ability to present and articulate a compelling written or verbal argument
- Strong team approach and a positive “can-do” attitude
