About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Procurement Manager (LOTE) and supporting the wider Supply Chain team this role will manage strategic procurement sourcing and contract management activities. You will develop, deliver and support business critical strategies and related sourcing activities through proactive engagement with key business stakeholders and the external market to ensure value for money outcomes in support of the LOTE Program.

Full time Permanent opportunity based in Osborne, SA.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies and sourcing plans that provide value for money, support on time delivery and manage ASCs risk
• Implement and manage strategic sourcing activities
• Engage and negotiate with the external market in accordance with the strategic sourcing plans
• Management of subcontracts to ensure contract compliance, performance and risk mitigation
• Knowledge sharing and coaching of team members
• Governance and compliance with all Supply Chain, WHS policies and procedures and ASC’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity Policy
• Incremental improvement in ASCs Procurement and Supply Chain function

About you 

• Tertiary qualification in commerce, law, supply chain or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of category management, strategic sourcing and contracting principles and best practices
• Strong negotiation skills for use in large and / or complex deals
• Knowledge of enterprise risk management
• Significant knowledge of contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and business case development
• Strong commercial acumen
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office products

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
