The role:
The Procurement Manager is responsible for ensuring the procurement activities across the business align with its strategic objectives and contribute to financial success.
Your impact:
Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies to meet stakeholder needs and expectations.
Your every day:
- Proactively collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and coordinate key procurement packages
- Proactively identify and lead procurement initiatives leveraging the scale of the business to maximise cost savings for all entities and business units.
- Provide a high level of focus on the integrity of the procurement system across the business, ensuring compliance from all participants across the business.
- Optimise procurement processes across the business to drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory obligations and monitor supplier performance.
Who are you?
- 10+ years relevant construction industry experience with proven results.
- Demonstrable existing relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices and strategies.
- Ability to think critically and innovatively to identify unique solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Proven stakeholder management and ability to influence decisions.
