Position Description
Develop strategies, policies and procedures that drive favourable supply agreements and supplier relationships.
Identify new opportunities within the Diocese and marketplaces to continuously improve procurement processes and practices.
Experience/Criteria
- Demonstrated experience leading a procurement team that is focused on customer outcomes
- Well-developed business and commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to apply these skills within the education and NFP sector.
- Proven success working on, and/or leading commercial negotiations and contract management.
- Excellent knowledge of procedures related to procurement, category management and risk management.
- Digital aptitude, with previous exposure to TechnologyOne or similar ERP systems and accounts payable systems.
- Data management and analytics skills to gather, clean and interpret data.
- A clear and demonstrated understanding of procurement’s role in influencing social and environmental change
Qualifications
- A relevant qualification in business management and/or procurement.
