About the role
This role leads and manages the provision of procurement services across Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Procurement projects, implementing contract maximisation strategies to achieve value for money outcomes. Working in a highly collaborative team based throughout NSW, you will provide expert advice on innovative contract management practices to meet business needs and government direction on procurement, whilst facilitating high engagement and commitment with diverse stakeholders.

About you
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can lead, engage and drive a high performing small team to deliver compliant and effective procurement outcomes. Your communication skills and capacity to influence and build relationships with team members and stakeholders will be first-class. Your ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment will ensure your success in the role.
Your will also bring:
- Experience in managing and delivering ICT procurements.
- Knowledge of the NSW Government ICT Service Scheme SCM0020.
- Ability to analyse and implement changes to improve the experience for all stakeholders.
- Demonstrated initiative, analytical, and problem-solving skills and proven ability to initiate and participate in business improvement activities.
- Commitment to innovation and continual service improvements to look for opportunities to streamline and improve processes with a focus on service delivery.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
