We are currently seeking a Temporary Procurement Manager to step into a crucial role, administering procurement functions. We require someone immediately available, ready to make an impact and drive procurement strategies on a temporary full-time basis.
Key Duties:
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration
- Collaborate with vendors to enhance performance, quality, and reliability
- Generate and manage purchasing orders in accordance with organisational needs and budget constraints
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the procurement process
- Identify potential vendors aligned with the company's objectives and standards
- Lead the onboarding process, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures
- Conduct thorough reviews of supplier contracts, negotiating terms and conditions where necessary
- Monitor and enforce contract compliance, addressing deviations and implementing improvements
- Participate in procurement-related activities during mergers and acquisitions
- Facilitate the integration of new vendors into the existing supply chain
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and purchasing order processes
- Familiarity with contract negotiation, review, and management
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of M&A processes related to procurement is a plus
