We’re looking for an experienced Procurement & Category Manager to join our growing leadership team. In this newly created position, you will assume a pivotal role in our organisation, responsible for strategically managing suppliers and products to drive sustainable growth and maintain our competitive edge.
As our Procurement & Category Manager, you will:
• Lead supplier negotiations for cost optimization and profit maximization.
• Source high-quality products in line with company objectives.
• Cultivate strong supplier relationships to enhance performance and reliability.
• Develop strategies for sustainable supply chains and risk mitigation.
• Implement sourcing policies ensuring corporate responsibility and legal compliance.
• Collaborate with the broader team on product requirements and pricing strategies.
• Monitor financial and product metrics, initiating action plans to meet targets.
• Conduct market analysis to monitor competitors and identify opportunities.
• Uphold company policies and ethical business practices.
About you:
You’re an experienced professional in category management and procurement in the manufacturing or building sectors. You’ve got a proven track record in negotiating supplier contracts, optimizing costs, and driving profitability. A customer-focused mindset underpins your work, and you possess strong communication skills and strategic thinking abilities. A driver’s licence and the ability to Travel across the our footprint is essential to performing this role.
