Work within a supportive and collaborative team environmentWhat you'll do:As a Procurement Project Manager, you will play an essential role in driving the development, governance, and execution of new technical advisory and professional services panel arrangements. You will partner with project teams and other project support functions within the Program Delivery business area, ensuring procurement activities align with the procurement plan. Your ability to manage evaluation and negotiation processes while maintaining appropriate governance will be crucial. You'll also be responsible for developing governance processes for panel arrangements, consulting with corporate support functions, providing regular progress reports, documenting procurement processes, and building strong relationships with key partners.Manage the development and procurement of technical advisory and professional services panels
Collaborate with stakeholders to plan for procurement, including market research and analysis
Prepare procurement and contracting documentation in line with guidelines
Manage evaluation and negotiation processes, engaging with panel members as required
Develop governance processes and templates for panel arrangements
Consult with corporate support functions to adhere to broader procurement compliance, finance, probity and risk requirements
Adopt project management methodologies to drive and measure procurement outcomes
Provide regular progress reporting and status updates on the delivery of panel arrangements
Document procurement processes undertaken, decisions and contractual arrangements fully for audit purposes
Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with key internal and external partnersWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for this Procurement Project Manager role brings a wealth of experience in procurement, particularly in undertaking the procurement of Standing Offer/Panel Arrangements. You have a strong understanding of the Queensland Procurement Policy and other relevant guidelines. Your experience in project management and execution, coupled with your understanding of governance requirements, will be crucial to your success in this role. You are known for your strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Your critical thinking skills and effective influencing abilities set you apart.Experience in undertaking the procurement of Standing Offer/Panel Arrangements from planning through to contract award
Knowledge of Queensland Procurement Policy and other guidelines
Experience in both project management and execution of projects
Understanding of governance requirements (including probity) that support procurement activities
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Critical thinking skills with effective influencing abilities
