About the role
In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in end-to-end procurement and contract management to delivery quality services and work closely with business areas to ensure compliance to ActewAGL’s Procurement Framework.

A day in the life of the role:
- Procurement and contract assistance: provide expert guidance to the business on procurement processes and contract management activities
- Contract Register Management: establish and maintain a comprehensive contract register for all corporate supplier agreements
- Tender preparation and negotiation: prepare tender and contract documents, skilfully negotiate with suppliers, and evaluate tenders and offers alongside contract owners.
- Supplier relations: lead contract evaluations, develop effective sourcing strategies, identify contract risks, and actively foster strong relationships with suppliers
About you
To be successful, you will have:
- A CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply, or relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or Finance
- Established working experience in a similar procurement or contract management role where you have developed supplier relationships and been part of tender preparation, evaluation and contract negotiation.
