Diamond Republic is a wholesale jewellery company that specialises in sourcing high-quality jewellery from global suppliers. We are currently seeking a highly organised and self-motivated Product/Buying assistant to join our team.
As the Product/Buying Assistant you will be responsible for communicating with suppliers, ordering stock, reporting stock movement and trends, managing orders and invoicing, and carrying out general admin related to the position. The ideal candidate must be highly organised and have excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with buying ranges within budgets
- Regular stock replenishment of fast moving items
- Processing purchase orders
- Processing sales and invoicing, including packing and picking of stock.
- Answering phone inquiries related to product
- Stock take processes
- Reporting of stock and sale analysis and movement
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Netsuite familiarity would be helpful
- Ability to work autonomously
- Experience in a product role preferred
- Experience in jewellery desirable
