We have a very exciting newly created role for an experienced, passionate and creative buyer for our accessories category. This is an area of the business that has seen huge growth and now demands a dedicated leader to source product, negotiate with suppliers and plan purchasing and placement. You will be working closely with the visual merchandise team and purchasing team.
About you:
- You will have an interest in home décor and design and display a genuine interest in helping customers create their dream home.
- You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a buying role, homewares experience is highly regarded
- You will be familiar with all aspects of product management, from buying, forecasting, reporting sales rates and planning for SLOB stock
- You will have a positive, results-driven attitude and a desire to learn.
- You will have great communication skills allowing you to positively interact with both our internal and external customers.
- Prior experience with Pronto highly regarded, although not essential.
- You will be in a position to travel interstate and internationally when required to attend homewares fairs/shows
