About the Role

As a Product Design Manager, your pivotal role extends from the conceptualization to the enhancement of digital products, ensuring a profound connection with the hearts and minds of our business. Positioned at the forefront of our transformation journey, you will guide the strategic vision of our Product Design team, ensuring the delivery of quality digital designs, whilst championing accessibility standards. This commitment goes beyond just meeting business goals, it’s about creating an extraordinary customer and user experience, uplifting new standards in digital engagement.

You'll Contribute To:

• Leading and guiding the Product Design team with a strategic vision to modernise and uplift digital products, ensuring they provide a valued user experience.
• Collaborating with stakeholders, managing, and coaching a team of Product Designers and multimedia specialists to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and to a high standard.
• Leading and refining Product Design's way of working, including the design system, for rapid delivery of modern, quality, and accessible designs.
• Ensuring compliance with accessibility standards and regulations, making digital products and services inclusive for all users.
• Championing and advocating for best practices, modern UX/UI methodologies, and continuous learning, fostering an energetic and effective design community.

A Bit About You:

• Proven ability to lead and manage a Product Design and multimedia team, providing guidance, direction, coaching, and mentoring to actively support both individual and collective growth and objectives.
• Demonstrated people leadership skills, cultivating a positive team culture rooted in human-centred values.
• Relevant and proven experience in uplifting and modernising the impactful realm of digital Product Design, coupled with success in design systems strategy and implementation.
• Demonstrated success in fostering a customer-centric culture of design thinking and continuous improvement within an agile environment.
• Highly refined verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage effectively to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to think strategically, plan effectively, and make quality decisions aligning with business requirements and expectations.
