Product Development Coordinator

Our ClientA rapidly growing and Australian owned manufacturer of FMCG products who prides themselves on their ability to work with customers to innovate and provide solutions to the market.

Role

Due to continued exponential growth and an ambitious mindset, an opportunity has been created for an energetic and innovative Product Development Coordinator to join this dynamic and passionate team based in Melbournes eastern suburbs.
  
Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple Product Development and introduction projects, working with multiple stakeholders including customers, production and quality/lab teams. The role will include introducing processes in-house for product launches.

Key responsibilities include;    

• To work in tandem with sales/marketing to support the execution of New Product Development
• The execution aspects of NPD to deliver on Go-To-Market strategy
• Ensure all key timelines for product launches are met
• Continual improvement and development of existing product portfolio / SKUs
• Document process and procedures for implementation of existing and new products
• To maintain and develop SOPs and other associated documentation related to NPD
• This role will be majority project coordination focused

Skills Required 

• Tertiary qualification in a science or marketing related discipline is preferred.
• 2 - 3 + years’ experience within a Product Development role within a FMCG manufacturing environment with demonstrated success of your portfolio.
• Proven project coordination and planning skills with a focus on managing multiple projects.
• Experience within retail environments and brand would be highly regarded.
• Experience in working with customers/sales teams to develop and deliver new products.
