With an exciting pipeline of products in the midst, we are seeking a new addition to the team to support our fast-paced New Product Development (NPD) team with project delivery as the Product Innovation Coordinator.

This position is initially being offered on a 12-month, parental leave contract.

What is the role?

You could be joining our team as the Product Innovation Coordinator!

This role will coordinate the day-to-day organisation of multiple projects across numerous vendors and assist the department in all matters relating to Product Development and product lifecycle management. Working together with the Product Innovation Managers, this role will assist driving projects with well-devised product roadmaps to ensure delivery of products on time, within budget, and to specification.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Coordinate weekly project meetings with key suppliers
• Track and manage new product and packaging samples
• Contribute to NPD strategy by conducting consumer and competitor research when required
• Coordinate consumer studies for claims development and substantiation
• Facilitate internal and external consumer panel testing to ensure formula standards are met
• Manage incoming formula submissions, providing feedback, redirects, and approvals
• Proof read all artworks to a print ready standard
• Assist in preparing product copy for packaging
• Manage and update existing artwork files with design and product team to ensure global compliance
• Assist in creating product profiles to include dermatological positioning, product concepts, product claims, technology and key product attributes, ensuring cross-functional team alignment
• Assist customer service team with product information
• Develop execute and launch e-commerce, special projects and accessories.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure all lab testing is complete including MICRO, RIPT, Lab Stability, Lab Compatibility, Ophthalmology, In-vitro and SPF testing as needed
• Work with Regulatory on formula reviews, global registration, regulatory restrictions and strategies per markets
• Share and provide assistance and clarification to regions on product sheets
• Assist with data analysis to highlight category opportunity and other research where required

You could be our Product Innovation Coordinator! This is a truly unique opportunity for a passionate, results-driven, innovative and professional who would relish the chance to join an award-winning global market leader in the lifestyle / skin / beauty space, whilst being a part of our Global team based in our vibrant HQ offices in Port Melbourne.

You have 2 years’ experience of relevant work experience within a reputable brand, ideally within the beauty / health / FMCG space, backed by demonstrated experience tracking and managing multiple projects. It would be ideal if you had a working knowledge of delivering new Product Development from concept to launch on time and on budget.

With your dazzling ability to develop strong relationships and work closely with both internal and external partners, you will assist and support the NPD team in communicating with suppliers during NPD process. Your strong organisational skills and collaborative approach mean you are confident in communicating plans, problem solving and ensuring everyone is on the same page.
