Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-centric Product Owner - CX (Customer Experience) to lead the enhancement and modernization of our customer interfaces and interactions. This role is pivotal in unifying the user experience across our desktop trading platform and mobile apps. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing products across both desktop and mobile environments, with a keen focus on customer satisfaction and commercial outcomes.
What You’ll Do
As the Product Owner - CX, you will be responsible for prioritizing and driving all customer experience (CX) enhancements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centric products. Your role will involve understanding customer needs, developing a cohesive product vision, and ensuring that every touchpoint with our platform reflects our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development and Management:
- Define and communicate the product vision for customer interfaces across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Develop and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the engineering teams.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct customer journey mapping and gather feedback to inform product development.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to articulate key features and benefits.
- Facilitate workshops with business teams to ensure a cohesive end-to-end customer experience.
Commercial Focus
- Prioritize CX enhancements to maximize commercial impact, including improvements in user interfaces, onboarding processes, loyalty programs, and marketing technology (MarTech) integrations.
- Conduct commercial analysis and benefit tracking to measure the impact of product changes.
Agile Methodology and Team Leadership
- Work within agile product teams to plan sprints and deliver product increments.
- Lead virtual teams and ensure alignment with product goals.
- Track and communicate the benefits and impact of product changes.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role will be demonstrated by the successful delivery of enhanced customer experiences across our trading platform. You will effectively manage the product backlog, ensure timely releases, and maintain a clear vision and strategy that aligns with business goals. Key metrics of success include customer satisfaction scores, product adoption rates, and overall platform performance.
What You Will Bring With You:
Critical Competencies and Experience:
- Strong ability to understand and advocate for customer needs.
- Proficient in commercial analysis and benefit tracking.
- Experience working in agile product teams, creating roadmaps, and managing backlogs.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience with both mobile and web development, UX/UI principles, and working closely with designers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- At least 3 years of experience in product management or ownership roles, with a focus on customer experience and Digital Products.
- Preferred certifications in Product Ownership and Human-Centred Design; Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Design, Innovation, or related fields.
