Product Owner - Data & Analytics

As the Data Product Owner, this role will be responsible for leading the implementation, administration, and optimisation of our clients Data & Analytics management platform. The role will involve working closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand their data integration, data quality, and data governance needs, and translating those requirements into effective solutions on the platform.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Broad range of experience within Data & Analytics (i.e. Azure Data factory, Power BI, Tableau)
• Expertise in cloud-based ETL and data integration services
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
• Experience with operationalising data quality assessment, cleansing, and enrichment.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experienced in working with complex enterprise data architecture that utilizes a myriad of data tools
• Experience in complex application landscape/environment that supports core business functions in accordance with application and industry best practice
• Lead product strategy, planning, and life cycle management efforts.
• Working with Business Application owners to identify opportunities where applications can uplift business capability
• In-depth understanding of technical architecture and design
• Technical knowledge of application and integration technologies
• Gas utility experience
• Experience determining and overseeing software development initiatives and estimating resource requirements
• Knowledge of Applications lifecycle management
• Proven experience in being able to manage vendors including driving performance improvements over time
• Expertise in strategic thinking and strong business acumen
• Relationship building and collaboration skills across diverse and matrixed stakeholders and customers
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing
