We're making this happen by improving the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our customers so they can achieve incredible things- whether they're buying a home, building a business, or saving for things big or small.As the Migration Data Readiness Product Owner you will report to the Migration Data Readiness Lead (Head of Information Mgt & Architecture - which is in the Data Portfolio and delivers to the Customer Migration Portfolio). As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading a squad to deliver the Data Migration Readiness backlog of work, ensuring work is scoped, sized, planned and executed effectively in order to drive Data Readiness for the migration. You will use strong project management and stakeholder management skills to understand business & capability requirements and translate them into a data backlog of work.You will also be a people leader for the Data Readiness squad members, with responsibility for performance and people management, including building a close collaboration with the existing Retail Analytics squads and connecting into and championing a thriving community of practice among data practitioners.To deliver Data Readiness, you will drive the approach and delivery of (“ the products”): a) testing and uplifting source system data to ensure frictionless migration b) developing data treatments, preventative measures and enhancements to accelerate migration and c) ensure the Data Readiness and Analytics are well-governed by applying Data Risk Theme control / governance requirements.Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008Role Type: Permanent, Full-timeWhat will you bring?To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:Data technical expertise in either analytics or data engineeringBusiness/commercial acumenStakeholder managementPeople leadershipEffective communicator, effectively resolve issues and remove barriers to successProject management, including delivery and risk managementCommercial acumen, experience working closely with operations, risk, finance and legalDemonstrated ability to maintain strict adherence to organisational policies, data privacy and regulatory requirementsYou're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
