AddressAs a Product Portfolio Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility to plan, deliver and maintain a competitive Product Portfolio in your assigned sub-region comprising of Content, Services, Platform and Applications. You will also be responsible for identifying and driving strategic product partnerships to accelerate Product Portfolio growth in the sub region. You will engage and interact with various stakeholders to achieve set objectives while remaining true to our values and proficiencies. Additionally, you will support continuous improvement in our product lifecycle by defining investment priorities and roadmap.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Product Portfolio (full stack) for the assigned sub-region. Plan and execute initiatives/programs to improve Product Portfolio by engaging local partners as well as internal resources.
- Responsible for identifying and executing strategic product partnerships (end to end) to accelerate Product Portfolio growth in the sub region
- Defining investment priorities to support deployment or expansion of the HERE portfolio of products, proactively identify and solve complex problems that impact the management and direction of the business.
- Collaborating and effectively influencing global product management roadmaps via sound business cases and market requirements to ensure regional objectives are met.
- Developing initial business cases for new product rollouts and new product features enablement (via PLMN process, as required)
- Providing insights for the set portfolio of offerings and being the primary advocate for the portfolio in the region
- Leading competitive analysis and regional market research efforts to provide meaningful input for defining regional product strategy.
- Driving product localization and quality assurance efforts by defining local product requirements and facilitating coordinated testing.
- Engaging directly or indirectly with customers as needed to help define requirements and use cases.
- Articulating clear recommendations and points of view based on solid and verifiable market data.
You are a Product Management professional with a keen eye for detail and an understanding of the relevant market in terms of offerings / opportunities. You will be a strong match for this role if you possess the following skills, competencies, and experience.
- An undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business or related fields.
- 5+ years of meaningful product management, consulting, business development experience in technology/software industry
- Consistent track record of managing successful product lifecycles
- Knowledge and/or understanding of Maps and Location-Based services is a plus, though not mandatory
- Skilled at working optimally with globally dispersed cross functional teams in a matrixed organization
- Ability to collect relevant data and analyze it to produce recommendations and perform root-cause analysis
- Self-starter with ability to manage various levels of projects in the company
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Confirmed ability to collaborate with all levels in internally and with customers
- Knowledge and cultural awareness of the region served – Oceania
