The Opportunity:
Komatsu seeks a Product Support Advisor for our Rio Tinto contract, responsible for ensuring the well-being of the Komatsu equipment fleet of trucks, loaders & excavators including 830E, 930E, PC4000, PC5500, WA900, WA1200.
Duties include offering on-the-job technical support, addressing fault finding, major component replacements, and aiding personnel with parts sourcing and technical information challenges
Roster & Location: FIFO from Perth,We’re offering an 8/6 day shift only roster and encompass various sites, including relief roles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and reporting on the daily downtime of the machine fleet at the site
- Involvement in the repair process for local dealer machinery
- Assisting customers in the administration of the Komatsu warranty process
- Understanding and forecasting scheduled downtime
- Providing weekly site updates for both customers and Komatsu management
- Optimizing machine performance
- Monitoring machine systems

What we are looking for:
- Trade Qualification in mechanical or electrical with exposure to heavy mobile equipment
- Mining industry experience, preferably with Komatsu equipment
- Exhibit self-motivation, initiative, and a collaborative team spirit, driven by a commitment to excellence and professionalism
- Uphold consistently high standards of customer service, actively promoting Komatsu Products and Services
- Showcase proven problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrate a steadfast commitment to Occupational Health and Safety
- Capable of working remotely at customer sites
