Position Overview
Responsible for promoting and selling Terex Jaques aftermarket parts and maintenance services to achieve performance targets to broaden the Terex MPS customer base in QLD and NT. This role provides a high level of technical insight and Product Support.
Skills and Qualifications
- Hands on operational experience in large equipment sales, maintenance and Product Support.
- Experience within the mineral crushing and screening industry preferable.
- Ability to accurately prepare budget, forecasts, sales quotes and contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships within internal and external customers.
- Sound negotiation skills and ability to lead commercial negotiations.
- Computer literate in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) and experience with Oracle TCX CRM would be well regarded.
Responsibilities
- Actively sell and promote aftermarket parts and maintenance services to achieve performance sales targets. While pursuing aftermarket sales, also seek opportunities for sale of new machines
- Develop a solid working relationship with customers to understanding their business, identify opportunities for future sales and ways MPS can add value to their business.
- Set-up and maintain effective customer call plans in consultation with Manager.
- Assist prospective customers with the preparation of technical specifications and strive to have Terex nominated as the preferred supplier.
- Identify training needs for ongoing customer service Support and provide customers with technical support.
- Follow sound commercial practices in all negotiations with customers and potential customers.
