The Product Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, repair, drawing, and maintenance of electronic components within our battery products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for electronic components of battery products to internal teams and customers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electronic systems and components, including PCB assemblies, microcontrollers, sensors, and other embedded systems.
- Perform repairs on electronic equipment, ensuring high standards of quality and reliability.
- Interpret and create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to facilitate troubleshooting and repair activities.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of electronic testing equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to provide feedback on product performance and suggest improvements.
- Document and report on technical issues, repair activities, and outcomes to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the development and updating of technical manuals and support documentation.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in electronic components and repair techniques.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics repair, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Associate degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with electronic testing and diagnostic
- Experience with battery management systems (BMS) and energy storage technologies.
- Familiarity with quality assurance and control procedures in electronics manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using CAD software for creating and modifying technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of battery systems and technologies is a plus.
