Exciting opportunity to join SA's iconic RAA Insurance Full-time Fixed term position to Feb 25 with potential to extend, based at Mile End Join a dynamic team with a fun, inclusive and supportive culture As a result of internal growth and movements, this exciting opportunity will see you drive informed underwriting decisions and advice that deliver exceptional member experiences and sustainable growth for RAA Insurance. In addition, you will: Provide underwriting and product guidance and subject matter advice to the RAA Claims and Sales and Distribution teams.Support RAA Insurance's Product and Underwriting strategy by researching, identifying, and coordinating policy, regulatory, and compliance changes involving the RAA Insurance product line and their associated processes.Pro-actively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with policy acceptance, denial, or special conditions, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the success of RAA's Product and Underwriting strategy.Assist with the coordination, review, and accurate updating of Insurance product related content across various formats including PDS, Underwriting Guidelines, and member communications.Pro-actively identify and report opportunities for process improvement within Underwriting, proposing, and implementing changes that enhance efficiency, risk assessment, and accuracy.Plus much more. For this role, we're also looking for: Experience in the insurance industry, preferably in personal lines Product and Underwriting with demonstrated knowledge of product underwriting practices and approaches.Advanced knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice, Dispute Resolution, and relevant legislative requirements applicable to Insurance policies and procedures, with the ability to interpret and apply them accuratelyProven experience in business analysis and/or business process analysis (improvement) and implementationAbility to establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholdersOutstanding attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skillsBe an innovative thinker with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities About us As one of the South Australia's largest and most iconic organisations, we're proud to deliver our trusted range of motor, home, and travel services to more than 815,000 members.
