KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:
1. Masterful Coordination:
- Navigate the intricate dance of stock management by ensuring accurate daily stock checks and systematic bookings.
- Orchestrate timely order dispatches by coordinating with the packing/processing, category, and orders teams.
- Drive efficient communication on shortages and order changes, acting as the linchpin between teams.
2. Production Maestro:
- Be the guardian of seamless daily order processing in the system, ensuring a flawless transition post-production.
- Champion effective communication with the SRDC team, keeping them in the loop on orders and shortages.
- Initiate quality assessments through clear communication with the QA team for incoming stock.
3. Quality Crusader:
- Enforce a regime of Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP standards, elevating our production to meet PFA Quality System standards.
- Oversee rigorous compliance checks, ensuring all QA-related documentation is in line with company standards.
- Uphold a culture of excellence by providing thorough QA training to production employees.
4. People Leadership:
- Lead, inspire, and motivate a dynamic team, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness in all production activities.
- Analyze and enhance production processes and facilities, leveraging the power of our Enterprise Resource Planning (Ironbark) system and 'Think Fresh' production planning software.
- Manage resourcing with finesse, ensuring optimal staffing levels during peak seasons.
5. Safety Maverick:
- Champion a culture of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), actively identifying and recommending improvements.
- Mitigate risks by managing and reporting hazards, promoting correct manual handling, and ensuring certifications for forklift drivers and machine operators.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:
- A seasoned professional with 3-5 years in FMCG and manufacturing administrative roles.
- Proven ability to thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A master of time management and planning, capable of navigating complex demands.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation prowess.
Qualifications:
- Background in a manufacturing or process-oriented environment, preferably as a Production Admin/Packing Supervisor.
- In-depth knowledge of fresh produce, understanding the nuances of seasonal demand fluctuations and constraints.
