About the role
Due to exceptional growth within our business. We require a Production Assembly Worker with a view to long-term growth within the company.
The experienced Production worker is an integral part of the production team, responsible for carrying out various tasks to ensure our range of products is built to completion to a high standard.
The successful applicant will have an appropriate level of mechanical knowledge and ability. Prior experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.
Structured training and support will be offered to the successful candidate.
This is a diverse and challenging role suited to applicants who enjoy working on a wide variety of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
You will be required to:
- Assembly of parts and machines
- Fitting components to trucks and trailers
- Master all the assembly tasks to ensure that each machine is completed to a common build standard.
- Maintain a highly professional approach to your work.
- Complete paperwork in detail for each job
- Product training will be provided.
- Reporting to the Production Manager/Production Leading Hand
- Working based in Bundamba.
About you
You must have or be able to :
- Recent Relevant experience or trade Qualification
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals, and technical documents
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to task planning and effective time management; proven ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- A high level of self-motivation, initiative, the ability to work unsupervised, and willingness to participate and contribute as part of a team.
- Chassis - Axles, wheel, brake, leaf springs, small machines, etc. assembly
- Wiring - 12V/24V wiring, tail lights, machines, etc. connecting
- Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies involving mainly engine, pump, gear and shaft preparation, and gear case preparation.
- General hand and power tools operation.
- Checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, and clearance (internal and external).
- Setting guides, stops, and other controls on machining tools and presses.
• Demonstrate basic machining abilities for fitting requirements. - Install / commission machines and equipment as required.
- Cleaning requirements associated with assembly works.
- Mechanical assembly.
- Physically fit.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work closely with others.
