Additional Information:
• These roles are permanent part-time, 40hrs/fortnight.
• As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts (with a spread of hours starting from 7:00am and finishing at 9:30pm).
• You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
• You are required to have evening availability on Mondays and Fridays to be considered for this role.
About this work area
As Product Recovery & Quality Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
• Revitalise products for resale by repackaging and offering them as As-Is items.
• Repacking IKEA products back into a saleable condition.
• Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality.
• Execute the Product Quality and compliance tasks in the store.
• Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that cultivates a strong understanding of Product Recovery, quality and compliance processes.
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment within the IKEA store, always ensuring the well-being of both customers and co-workers.
As Product Recovery & Quality Co-worker you are or have:
