Responsibilities:
Order admin- including product set up, raising and issuing purchase orders and barcode allocation Negotiate pricing and ensuring correct unit price and agreed ex factory date is correct on POsMaintain the production critical path and master product sheets, ensuring details are always up-to-dateManage all stages of offshore production from quote to delivery ensuring production is on-timeEnsure orders are placed to suppliers within lead time allocatedEnsure PPS and shipment samples are sent on time by all suppliersProvide sample comments within the allocated lead timeManage your inbox ensuring all emails are responded to in a timely mannerUpdate and communicate PO changes to all stakeholdersArrange 3rd party testing, 3rd party in-line inspection, and final inspection as requiredReport and resolve production issues alongside the production manager Arrange Sea/Air freight quotes and recommend cost savingsMonitor shipping consolidation to ensure goods are handed over on time to meet critical path datesEnsure shipment docs are up to date and submitted to the freight forwarder on time for clearanceCheck packing lists and invoicesReconcile POs ensuring supplier packing lists and invoices matchLiaise with accounts department to ensure all payments are made on time per supplier agreed terms Other office duties (sample library maintenance, DHL sending)The Successful Candidate will have:
Preferably 2-3 years experience in overseas apparel product development, production and logisticsStrong understanding of apparel product development and production flow (concept to delivery)Strong understanding of garment construction, tech packs & size specs, and garment fittingThorough experience checking garments and providing comments to overseas vendorsExperience communicating with multiple overseas vendorsExperience obtaining quotes and negotiating costsProficient in managing and maintaining data in Cin7 and Google Sheets/ExcelHigh attention to detail and be very organisedDesire to work in a fast growing team and organisationDesire to proactively play a part in shaping the life cycle of production to run more efficientlyAbility to take initiative and not shy from helping othersAbility to successfully manage time and workload, and focus on getting things doneExperience in creating tech packs including specs will be highly regardedEfficient in Adobe illustrator is a bonusAbout Us:
