Skyline Envision is a world leader in the exhibition and events industry, creating Large Format displays and graphic solutions for clients. We take our customers from concept to completion: designing, manufacturing, and installing exhibits for Trade Shows, Career Markets, Conferences, and more.
We are currently looking for a Production Assistant, who can assist assist in the manufacturing and occasional installation of our displays across all sectors.
This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Project Coordinator. The successful candidate will be located at our Eagle Farm office, with the possibility of occasional travel for project installations.
About You:
What you will need to have is a willingness to learn, you will be a team player with a self-motivated attitude. This role would suit someone who is hands on, with attention to detail, problem solving skills and an ability to work to a deadline. A creative or artistic side would be an advantage but not a necessity.
This is a hands-on role with production in-house and installations occurring on site at major venues such as the Convention Centres, RNA Showgrounds, Hotels, Shopping Centres.
While experience within the events industry, Large Format Printing or sign fabrication would be an advantage, we are more focused on seeking someone with a willingness and commitment to learn new skills, and to be part of a team that focuses on long-term development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Running and setting up wide format and small format digital printers.
- Fabric application and assembly techniques.
- Taking photos of finished projects.
- Production of Large Format graphics and displays with our in-house team.
- Assisting the graphics and production team to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Warehousing of incoming and outgoing freight.
- Packing and shipping.
- Servicing of client displays.
- Maintaining a clean and organised workplace.
- Building maintenance and showroom upkeep.
- Occasional installation and dismantle of displays (showroom and off-site), including some out-of-hours work.
- Adherence to Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Inventory control – shelving incoming stock and performing stock takes.
- Assistance in management of rental inventory.
Essential:
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Flexible to occasionally accommodate after hours work and weekend work
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work to a deadline
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills
- A “Can Do” Attitude
