Production Coordinator

Zimmermann has an exciting career opportunity for a highly motivated and experiencedProduction professional to join our team in the position of Production Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for for the management of on-time delivery of high-quality Zimmermann Swim and Resort Clothing

Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Set up seasonal PPS schedule and seasonal artwork tracker outlining approval dates and deadlines
• Work with factories and patternmakers to resolve any pattern or spec queries
• Send bulk artworks to factory for bulk fabric ordering 
• Set up and maintain fabric consumption reports for bulk production ordering
• Check off and finalize all BOM costing information on all fabric materials
• Coordinate external quality testing on fabrics
• Plan and schedule all deliveries and shipments of fabrics to factories
• Execute and confirm that all fabric and trim components are issues ad per BOM yield 
• Request yields from factories as soon as the cut is complete and update in system
• Work with QA to prioritise and approve PPS & bulk packs
• Review & ensure colour master trim reference folder by design team is correct for bulk ordering
• Set-up & maintain delivery WIP schedule on fabric purchase orders, following up all fabric shipping samples
• Responsible to follow up stock take levels on all RM with factories. Understand and explain any large variances in collaboration with Management Accountant
• Set up care label master, cross checking BOM’s for content. Discuss with QA manager and conduct any necessary testing or washing experiment.
• Establishing and maintaining good relationships with RM suppliers and factories, being aware of their specialties and strengths.

• Excellent planning and maintenance of all schedules related to the pre-production and production phases
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Concise and accurate communication with offshore and local manufacturers for fabric prints, trims and garments
• Consistent coordination and follow up for the on time delivery of FG according to the season’s critical path
• Consistent coordination and follow up for the on time delivery of raw materials according to the season’s critical path
• Ensures production process outputs product that is of high quality and meets Zimmermann standards
