ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Production Coordinator to join our friendly team. As a Production Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of various aspects of the production process. From coordinating schedules to managing logistics and communicating with suppliers, your role will be instrumental in ensuring the timely delivery of our high quality and innovative products. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating production schedules to meet deadlines
- Liaise with vendors, supplier and internal floor staff to procure materials and resources
- Manage inventory levels and track materials usage to prevent shortages
- Arrange transportation and logistics for movement of goods and equipment
- Collaborate with floor staff to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production environment or in a similar role
- Degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field desirable but not essential
- Proficient in MS Office and production management software such as ERP, MRP, SAP
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in production environments
