About the role
This position is ultimately responsible for the accurate and timely conversion of Design briefs into sound working drawings in line with department and company requirements within our Medium Density team.
A sample of your day:
- Preparation of concept drawings
- Creation of Master Working Drawings
- Referencing of correct construction details
- Correcting drawing errors and updating housing improvements
- Collaborating with internal teams, management and departments
- Liaising with suppliers and consultants such as structural engineers and developers
What you need to succeed in the role:
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- An understanding of Small Lot Housing Code
- The ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- A high-level understanding of construction methods and building regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders
- Personal time management and organisation
- A thorough understanding of AutoCAD
- Strong attention to detail skills
