About the Peak Project
Peak Mine is a gold, copper, lead and zinc underground mining operation located in the northern Cobar Basin, south of Cobar in central-west NSW. Peak has been successfully operating for more than 20 years.
The role involves

• Working a 2&2 12hr shifts
• Perform accurate drilling by working with engineering to ensure holes are drilled correctly
• Ensure safe, effective and productive operation of the production drill
• Cable Bolt experience
• Ability to read and understand cable bolt layouts
• Responsible for application of the whole cable bolting process in an underground mine
• Safe and efficient installation of cable bolts for mine rehabilitation and ground support
• Productively perform mine production tasks as required
• Ensuring machinery used are cleaned and presented for service regularly

We are looking for

• Experienced in the operation of underground production drills & cablebolting
• Simba experience
• The ability to multi-skill in underground operations 
• Valid manual drivers licence 
• National Police clearance within last 6 months advantageous 
• A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto,  Consider it done — safely.
