The Role
This full time permanent position will see you:
- Complete new Home Estimates, providing quality assurance checks on all pre-site documentation. Including New Home contracts, Colour Selection schedules, Variations, Working Drawings and Engineering Plans.
- Complete on-site post contract Building Variations.
- Ensure Production Estimates are completed and maintained within allocated timeframes.
- Provide support to the Estimating and Building teams in the day-to-day functions.
- Liaise with Suppliers and Sub-contractors.
- Send Purchase Orders and relevant job documentation to Suppliers and Sub-contractors.
- Maintain Bill of Quantities and Price File, as directed.
- Adhere to all Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
The Person
- 2-5 years’ experience in a similar Estimating role within residential construction.
- Trade background or relevant qualifications (Cert III in Carpentry and/or Cert IV in Construction and Building) highly regarded.
- Previous experience utilizing Estimating software such as Databuild and Framework highly regarded.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
