About the company:
Our client is a leading provider in the oil and gas industry, specialising in building and refurbishing equipment such as Hydraulic Power Units (HPU’s), Driveheads, and Wellheads. With a focus on quality and innovation, they are seeking a skilled Production Fitter to join their team in Willawong.
About the role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Fitter to join the team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to rotate through various stations, engaging in the assembly, repair, and maintenance of specialised equipment. Your skills in using hand and power tools, along with your engine rebuilding expertise, will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Knowledge and experience with hydraulics are highly valuable in this role.
As a Fitter, you will play a vital role in the assembly and maintenance of equipment crucial to the oil and gas industry.

Major responsibilities:

• Carry out service & repair work of machinery attachments.
• Fault finds breakdowns in the product including hydraulic and pneumatic systems to maintain the product in working order.
• To direct hydraulic and repair operations, ensuring productivity targets and customer lead times are being met.
• Perform maintenance services such as oil changes, flow and pressure tests to achieve optimum performance of product.

To be successful you will have:
• Trade Qualification/Certification – Fitter/Diesel Fitter/Mechanic.
• Ability to lift 20-25kg.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of hydraulic functions and pneumatic systems.
• Current drivers’ licence and reliable transport.
