We are seeking a Production Manager with a unique and versatile skill set to join our team.
The role is a full-time position and duties, responsibilities and tasks include:
- Scheduling manufacturing
- Production forecasting
- Monitoring KPIs and statistics
- Stock control and reorder flagging
- Ensuring records are up-to-date and accurate
- Organising freight inbound and outbound
- Managing the warehouse manager
- Quoting - costs, charges and lead-times
- Procurement
- Line setting
- Machine / vessel timetable
- Staff timetable in line with manufacturing / filling
- Engineering.
- Raw material allocation to batches
- Raw material forecasts and inventory management
- Raw material procurement
- Scheduling of batch manufacturing
- Manufacturing costings and quoting
- Ensuring that highly specific criteria is met for each line
- Trouble-shooting issues on filling lines, including machinery adaptation
- Working closely with the production team to ensure quality, accuracy and deadlines are met
- Ensure the Quality Management System is being adhered to
- Cross-checking that manufacturing schedule is being adhered to and is on schedule.
In addition, the successful candidate will also be working on the implementation of new systems to increase the efficiency and quality of the operation.
The successful candidate must be:
- Proficient in mathematics
- Time efficient
- Excellent communications skills including writing and reporting
- Excellent command of the English language
- Highly organised
- A willing team member demonstrating courtesy, respect and co-operation.
Experience and a high level of skill is necessary for this role.
Salary: $70K - $75K per annum. Full-time.
