Integral Skills is a locally owned Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with offices in Orange and Mudgee. A fantastic opportunity has become available at our Mudgee Office for an organised, enthusiastic Reception Officer to join our small but dedicated team in a full-time position.
The new team member will also join our team as we open a new facility on Lions Drive.
The position is for an immediate start.
Prior administration experience and familiarity with Xero is desirable, but on-the-job training is provided for the role. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude, present professionally, have a willingness to learn and will be able to work autonomously.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the RTO Manager, and working in conjunction with our team members, the successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of high quality service, administrative and customer support.
This role is Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with some flexibility for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Attend to all phone calls and emails in a polite and professional manner
- Welcome all customers with bright enthusiasm and assist with all enquiries as needed, including providing information to assist in course selection
- Schedule courses and ensure resources are available
- Enter data in our various management systems & other online platforms
- Course preparation
- Organise accommodation for staff members as required
- Scanning & Filing documents
- Provide administrative support to our team
- Maintain strong working relationships with our clients with the highest professionalism
- Other general office administration duties as required
- General office cleaning duties as required
- Work closely with other staff located in the Orange office
- Update the office calendar
- Manage course bookings and process enrolment applications
- Be responsible for quoting, ordering & sales of Height Safety & lifting equipment, uniforms, PPE etc.
- Prepare training quotes and invoices, take payments and record transactions in Xero
About You:
This role is customer facing so you will need to have outstanding customer service skills, an extremely friendly personality and professional presentation.
Other criteria include:
- RTO or training company experience preferred but not essential
- Impeccable communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to take instruction and learn quickly
- Excellent time management and organisation skills, with an ability to multi task
- Strong customer service ethic including a polite and professional phone manner
- Great computer literacy and excellent skills in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Xero is preferred
