OUR FACILITIES:
Our company employs over 400 staff, across our growing national operations. Our main manufacturing and operations base is located at YATALA in Queensland (between the Gold Coast and Brisbane). We are only a 10-minute drive North of Dreamworld, on the M1 Motorway.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Reporting to the section Supervisor, our Welding Team use MIG Welders (steel on steel) and production jigs to produce simple welded components. This is a high volume, high paced and high quality role. Success in the role relies heavily upon the strict observance of Triple M Holdings' policies and procedures, particularly with regards to Quality, Efficiency, Safety and Service.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates that possess skills or experience in the following areas:
- Demonstrated recent experience as a production MIG Welder - a must.
- Trade qualified or equivalent – highly regarded. Different Weld Class attainments will certainly be considered.
- Prepared to do a Skills Test, as part of the recruitment process.
- Able to follow specific work instructions, have a keen eye for detail and pride in their workmanship.
- Ability to work in a team environment and have a 'can do' attitude.
- Current driver's license and reliable transport - a must.
- Must be punctual, reliable and available for work Monday to Friday, from 6:00am to 3:30pm (dayshift) or 3:30pm to 1am (nightshift)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work positively in a team environment.
- A great attitude to work and helping others.
- A current resume with 2 recent referees.
