About the Opportunity:

Waverley Mills is building a team of dedicated individuals to help rejuvenate an iconic Australian textile mill and requires keen, reliable and enthusiastic people to fill a number of fulltime and casualProduction Operator roles. These roles are responsible for supporting all of the mills production departments.
About Waverley Mills:
Recently celebrating its 150th year of operation, Waverley Mills is Australia's oldest working textile mill. With a rich history of producing high-quality, natural, and sustainable products, we're on a mission to become Australia's next iconic luxury brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate textile production machines
- Monitoring quality of products produced
- Understand and follow safe work procedures
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Achieving production KPI’s
Waverley Mills provides opportunities to learn and develop a career in the industry.
Hours are generally Monday to Friday between 7am and 3pm.
About you:
- A can-do attitude
- A desire to be a team player and work towards shared company goals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be optimistic, pro-active and have a solution-based approach to problems
- Have a willingness to learn new things
- A current driver’s license
- A current forklift license (desirable, not essential)
