Our Production Operators are at the heart of what we do. It can be a great job opportunity, and we’re proud that some people stay with us for years. However, we know it’s not for everyone. You don’t need technical skills, but you do need a great work ethic and attention to detail. In this role: 

• Working in a slaughterhouse environment, your job is to collect, prepare and package animal tissue, along with the necessary quality documentation. 
• You’ll follow clear processes with focused concentration, using the skills and techniques taught to you by our experts.
• Your team's goal is to achieve its daily production targets while meeting high-quality expectations and working safely at all times.

• You’re a team player who’s passionate about doing a good day’s work and producing quality results on time.
• You’re meticulous and have excellent attention to detail, completing all tasks while following our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• You’re a lifelong learner who’s willing to undergo our excellent on-site training for this role. You’re also open to change when we find opportunities to improve our approach.
• You put safety first and follow our strict health and safety standards.
• You’re not faint of heart. You’ll be working in a slaughterhouse environment, so it’s not for the squeamish. But we’ll give you all the support and training you need to succeed.

You’ll also need:

• The ability and readiness to work Mondays and Tuesdays starting at 5.00am. The good news? You’ll do a great day’s work and be away by mid-afternoon. 
• Reliable transport of your own as you may be rostered on at any of our 3 sites in the Darling Downs or Somerset regions in a roster cycle and there is no public transport to the sites.
• Good physical fitness and the willingness to attend a full employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
