Goonyella
Located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, BMA's Goonyella Mine is one of Queensland's largest coal mines. It is situated approximately 30 kilometres from the town of Moranbah.
BUMA Australia provide labour, supervision, technical support and mobile plant to perform truck and excavator pre-strip operations.
Job description:
At BUMA, our people are the source of our success. We are determined to invest in individual development and are looking for experienced Production Operators who have a genuine interest in training and developing others. This role will be predominately dayshift only on a 7/7 roster, and will involve training production crews across multiple pieces of machinery.

Our fleet at Goonyella includes:
- Shovel and Excavators - Liebherr 9800, Cat 6060
- Trucks - Cat 793C and Komatsu 930E
- Water Cart - 777C, 785C
- Graders - 24M, 16M, 16H
- Dozers - D10T, D11T
Profile description:
About You
- Current Cert IV in Training & Assessing (preferred)
- Experience with training across a variety of plant equipment
- 3+ years' experience on the equipment you can train on
- Excellent communication skills
We offer:
- 7/7 Roster, working hours are 12hr 20mins for the first 6 shifts and 10hrs on the 7th shift to assist employees in traveling home within fatigue hours.
- Annualised weekly pay
- Camp accommodation with gym facilities (5 minutes from site)
- BIBO from Mackay to camp at start and end of shift
- Ability to live residentially if residing in Moranbah
