Job summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Production Operators specialising in blister machines to join our production team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting blister packaging machinery to ensure the efficient and high-quality production of pharmaceutical products. This role requires a strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Set up and operate blister packaging machines according to established protocols.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper operation and quality output.
- Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of blister machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams for more complex repairs.
- Conduct in-process inspections to verify the integrity of blister packs.
- Document any deviations and report them to the quality control department.
- Ensure compliance with GMP and company quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
- Complete all required documentation for batch records and equipment logs.
- Assist in the preparation of production reports as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Participate in safety training and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal SOPs
- Work closely with production team members and supervisors to achieve production targets.
- Provide training and guidance to new operators as needed.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve production issues.
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment, previous use of blister machines is preferred.
- Familiarity with labelling and carton equipment is a plus.
- Understanding of GMP, cleanliness and hygiene requirements in controlled environments (Grade C and D areas).
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials up to 20Kg.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise workload effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors.
