Production Operator - Weekend Day Shift

Due to substantial growth across our business, we are increasing operations at our Ingleburn facility. These new roles will work a permanent Weekend Day Shift roster on Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 6am - 6pm.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

As this is a new role within Darrell Lea, successful candidates will be required to undertake a minimum 4-weeks training which will take place at Ingleburn on either Day Shifts or afternoon shifts (or a mix of both). These shifts are Monday through Friday, starting at either 05:00am or 1:00pm.

ABOUT THE ROLE

There are a few things that we need from you:

• 4 weeks training will be provided on commencement. Training will take place Monday to Friday on either our Day or Afternoon (8 hour) Shifts.
• Must be fully Covid vaccinated
• Undertake Pre-Employment medical with a functional & fitness for work assessment, including drug and alcohol screening
• Have an excellent work ethic and strong attention to detail
• Must hold valid Australia work rights

There are a lot of aspects to food production and machine operation roles, including:

• Manual Handling
• Process work / packing stock
• Operation in a variety of purpose-built machines (full training provided)
• Quality Assurance
• Adhering to WHS policies and procedures
• Completing paperwork & general Housekeeping

ABOUT YOU

Successful applicants must have previous experience working within a food manufacturing background, operating process equipment and have an excellent understanding of food hygiene procedures. It’s a fast-paced environment, so we are looking for team members who are experienced in this environment. Most importantly, candidates will demonstrate the right attitude and a great work ethic.
