Production Or Plant Engineer

They have grown to be Australia's leading, known & trusted manufacturer of transport refrigeration & air conditioning equipment.You will work closely with our team to ensure that organisational objectives are met in your role as Production or Plant EngineerAs part of your role, duties and responsibilities include:Creating structural and aesthetic designs for custom truck bodies using Fusion 360 & Solid works software based on client specifications.
Designing all relevant parts for production processes using Fusion 360 & Solid works including the utilization and design of specifications for production processes
Generating technical drawings derived from equipment design specifications.
Addressing any design-related issues that may arise during the design process and providing practical and innovative solutions.
Collaborating closely with servicing, manufacturing, marketing teams amongst other departments
to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with customer needs.
Maintaining accurate records of production processes, generating reports, and analysing data to identify areas for improvement.
Continually assess and ensure the availability of necessary materials, labour availability and resources to establish the required production capacity.
Ensuring that the final products (vans, trucks, or any other vehicles) meet our quality standards and safety procedures
Coordinate production schedules, employee responsibilities, labour utilization, address issues, and implement changes or improvement to ultimately ensure optimal efficiency
Establish, monitor and inspect safety policies, procedures, and requirements from concept design, equipment testing and installation to ensure compliance with relevant regulationsSkills and experience
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience
Experience preferably with Transport refrigeration & Auto A/C design.
Ability to work proficiently with Fusion 360 and Solid works
Team playing abilities but be able to work independently

Demonstrate a good understanding of ADR's in relation to VSB6.Salary: Minimum AUD $70,000 per year plus Superannuation
