Form of workOur Client is a leading seating Manufacturer and distributor who supply a variety of sectors to include Construction, Mining and workplaces.
This role will oversee a team of 6 assemblers and will focus on scheduling and planning the production of custom seating.
The ideal candidate for this role will either be a Mechanical engineer with assembly line experience or an experienced Production supervisor / team leader looking for the next step in the\ir career.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Creating new BOM's (Bills of materials) and Maintaining the BOM library.
- Plan and Schedule the production inline with client orders.
- Identify root causes of production downtime and develop and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee a team of 6 assemblers.
Key requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or mechanically minded with relevant production work history.
- Previous assembly line experience.
- Working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001
- Strong time management and planning skills
- Previous experience conducting RCA's (root cause analysis).
- Current full, Australian drivers licence.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test.
