Form of workAn opportunity is currently available for a Production Supervisor to work out a flagship site in Brisbane. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and coordinate production operations, assuming a leadership role during the shift. The objective is to enhance manufacturing performance by minimizing waste and scrap, while enhancing and upholding quality standards to optimize overall site productivity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing production line operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to production schedules.
- Establishing delivery time guidelines.
- Coordinating production schedules and material orders.
- Monitoring and adjusting schedules to meet market and production demands while optimizing costs.
- Maintaining hygiene and GMP standards within the assigned area.
- Adhering to Quality System and HACCP procedures and policies.
- Responding appropriately to WH&S, quality, and HACCP issues.
- Analyzing manufacturing output data and collaborating with the team to enhance site performance.
- Motivating and coaching the team to meet manufacturing targets.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment (highly desirable).
- 3-5 years of leadership and team management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with preventative maintenance systems.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Performance management and development expertise.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective prioritization abilities.
