Job Description
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Motivate and supervise production teams to meet demand safely.
- Monitor plant operations and equipment responsibly.
- Mentor staff for development and growth.
- Provide regular progress reports using SAP.
- Set targets to minimize output costs effectively.
- To have a good knowledge, understanding of certain Quality Assurance Procedures (QAPs) and Job Instruction Sheets (JISs) in accordance with Sika's Management Systems (SMS).
- Lead the team to correctly identify goods using FIFO and ensure accurate production according to QC requirements and Sika's work instructions.
- Report major equipment malfunctions to Site Manager immediately.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Safely prepare plant for maintenance, document work required, and maintain records.
- Coordinate contractors for specialized services during breakdowns.
- Assist in improving safety, health, environment, quality, and productivity.
- Maintain housekeeping standards consistently through regular checks.
- Fulfill all duties as required by the Site Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in managing a production team of in a production environment (desirable).
- Possess a strong WHS focus and experience in ensuring members within the team you have managed are all complying with strict WHS rules and regulations.
- A hands-on target driven manager who leads by example and treats people with respect.
- Time management, organisational and admin skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills and proven Computer literacy.
