About the Role:
To maintain positive momentum as the business continues to grow and the workforce expands, a high calibre Production Supervisor is needed.
Working closely with a very experienced Operations Manager, as well as with the Managing Director, you will take day-to-day control of the workshop and lead a team of approximately 30 staff.
Your brief will be to drive sustainable improvement in performance – safely - by coaching and developing a very capable team, and by improving the processes and methods by which they work.
This is not about maintaining the status quo. Your mission will be to:
- Identify opportunities to refine and improve processes;
- Develop and execute operational improvement initiatives; and
- Coach your team to higher levels of individual and team performance.
We are seeking a Production professional:
- With demonstrated ability to lead performance improvement in made-to-order production operations.
- Who can show they have delivered that improvement through their people, leading individuals and teams to higher levels of performance.
- Who is able to harness technology platforms, including ERP systems, to improve production efficiency.
- Ideally with experience in metal manufacturing, fabrication and/or laser cutting environments, though this is not mandatory.
