About the role
We are currently experiencing sales growth and expansion and have an exciting opportunity within our team for a Production Supervisor.
You will lead your team to manufacture a wide variety of products meeting Earlee Products, safety, quality, productivity and MIFOT standards.
Day to Day responsibilities
- Promote and demonstrates Earlee Products WH&S Policy, culture, values and mission.
- Develop benchmarks and standards, create framework for collection of data and assessment tools.
- Assist team leader and other supervisor skills growth.
- Ensure Pre-op checks are within standard every day with RCA and corrective actions.
- Ensure all team are trained in relevant SOP ‘s.
- Develop and manage the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Wet Production Team and maintain training records for all staff training.
- Maximize productivity, process flow and team skills to produce SKU within spec and MIFOT.
- CI in Production planning to maximize productivity, achieve production plan with the most efficient allocation of staff.
- Oversee the Wet Production Operators and Team Leaders to maximize efficiency of production in schedule.
- Assist manning for Periodical Cleans, Monthly and annual PM of P&E and Rooms.
- Manage all wet production team performance, 1o1, reviews and people planning.
- Manage all new staff probationary reviews.
- Support the HR functions of the team, toolbox talks, performance reviews, record of conversations.
- Oversee P&E maintenance for department, ensuring fit for purpose.
- Ensure quality standards are met, both product spec and paperwork, work with QA on NCRs using RCA to close out.
- Ensure GMP standards are met for the department.
- Coordinate all NPD onboarding in process and documentation.
- Support the Wet production manager where required.
- Assists with preventative maintenance, breakdowns, and new equipment installations.
- Engage in Projects as required by Earlee Products.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisor position
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills as data entry will be required.
- Good communication skills
- Positive can-do attitude.
