Our knowledge and experience within the water storage industry allows us to supply rain water collection systems tailored to our customers requirements for delivery state-wide.
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Production Team Leader to join our team at our Sorell site.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individual who can work alongside and lead a small team in the end-to-end production of our water storage range.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Manufacturing a range of different water tanks, from start to finish
- Ensuring production outcomes are completed according to production plans and in accordance with safety instructions and guidelines
- Coordinating and allocating work to team members
- Ensuring that key stock is available at all times to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing
- Operate all plant, equipment and machinery
- Complete all required site documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Complete computer work as required
- Providing training and supervision to team members
- Report incidents and non-conforming manufacturing
The successful applicant have:
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment - experience in large components such as kitchen cabinets, caravans, plumbing, playground equipment, or rotationally moulded products would be highly regarded
- Previous supervisory experience
- Understanding of machinery and production systems with experience in the use of hand tools
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with other staff
- Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise and plan work for self and others
- Work safely and achieve required targets efficiently and on time
- A positive, reliable, flexible, self-motivated way of working
- Ability to be a proactive team player who is able to work effectively without supervision while leading a small team of your own
- High level of attention to detail and follows task through to completion
- Holder of a current forklift licence with experience (mandatory)
- Current drivers licence (mandatory)
- Comfortable working at heights
- Able to complete physical requirements of the role including repetitive manual handling tasks including weights up to 25kg
- Available to work full time hours Monday to Friday (Monday to Thursday 7am to 3.30pm, Friday 7.30am – 1.30pm) with paid overtime required on occasion
