Endeavour Foundation’s Work Portfolio operates over 30 commercial operations across the Eastern seaboard, covering a diverse product mix, predominantly in Packaging (food, general, pharmaceuticals), Document Destruction, Recycling and Manufacturing to commercial customers.
A little bit about the role
As a Production Team Leader you will take a person-centred approach, demonstrating empathy and patience while balancing the need to meet commercial outcomes. If you are someone with Disability Services experience looking for something a little different then please get in touch! Other key responsibilities will include:
Supervising, motivating and encouraging employees while understanding and developing individual capabilities
Liaising with management to ensure outcomes and deadlines are met
Overseeing product quality
Engaging in the manufacturing process ensuring appropriate set up, production and shut down of equipment
Applying quality controls during the manufacturing process to ensure production and quality are in-line with the customer requirements
What you will bring to the role:
A manufacturing/production or retail background; you are comfortable operating machinery
Experience supervising a small Production Team
You are a true people person who is passionate, patient, empathetic and resilient
Coaching and mentoring skills to help guide employees through their daily tasks and empower them to live their best lives
Physically fit due to the demands of the role
Excellent communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team
Moderate skills with MS Office applications
Forklift ticket desirable
Disability services experience or knowledge would be beneficial
