At Holy Cross Services (HCS) we are looking for 4 experienced Team Leaders to join our Production Team full-time at Banyo site. The successful candidates will be responsible for leading a team to support the operation of designated area/section to meet delivery requirements and production targets as well as to contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of designated Area/Section of the laundry as determined by the Production Team under limited direction. This role requires the ability to work on a rotating roster within the plant operating hours including weekend and Public Holiday Rosters as required.

About The Role
With the support of the Production Supervisors and Coordinator, Team Leader will be expected to:
- Lead the team activities and tasks relating to processing linen
- Ensure the group maintain the quality and quantity of their work
- Effectively redeploy staff in the event of machinery breakdown or limited work
- Assist in organising and monitoring staff to allow for contingencies sickness and annual leave replacement
- Assist with staff induction, performance appraisals and training in appropriate work techniques and on the job training
- Contribute to performance discussions and coaching moment data entry
- Provide co-worker support or assistance within level of authority
- Identify and report any training needs of team members
About you
- A minimum six (6) months experience in a commercial environment or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge and skills in the Laundry Industry
- Ability to competently demonstrate skills and perform tasks required in the Laundry Industry and continuous processing knowledge
- Ability to work effectively and with only limited supervision
- Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain and improve own performance
- Physical fitness is required due to high manual handling component
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one
- Certificate III in Laundry Operations is desirable but not essential
